PE-Nut™ FY 2023 SNAP-Ed Training
<strong>Physical Education and Nutrition Working Together™ (PE-Nut™)</strong> is a nutrition and physical education program that uses a comprehensive approach to motivate students, parents, and educators to eat healthier and be more physically active. <br>

PE-Nut™ trainings offer an interactive, hands-on experience for program educators to gain the knowledge and skills to deliver the core nutrition education program, Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities™, and integrate the supplemental PE-Nut™ materials, such as Fit Bits™, Health Through Literacy™, take-home materials, and more. <br>

Best practice approaches from years of research tested strategies and current program educators experiences are shared to support schools in transforming the learning environment, engaging families and community, identifying common core curriculum links integrating program materials into their lessons, including the Exemplary Physical Education Curriculum™ (EPEC™), and role modeling healthy behaviors.
